A lively collection of modern pieces in Paris

Established in 1982 by Dominique Bert, the Bert Gallery presents a variety of pieces from French and foreign modern artists (Hans Hartung, Serge Poliakoff, Olivier Debre, Alfred Manessier, Zao Wou Ki ...), who worked in Paris between the two world wars. They were regrouped under the name of "Ecole de Paris". The Gallery presents abstract pieces as well as figural ones but still with a modern sense.
In addition Dominique Bert is long-specialised in Jean Cocteau's pieces. Thereby the Gallery has participated in many expositions about Jean Cocteau in France and abroad (Paris Centre Pompidou, Bilbao, Quebec, Japan).
